HIIVE, formerly known as "Low Cost High Impact Technologies" or LoCoHiTechs, is a start-up dedicated to developing economical and eco-friendly high-impact technologies. Our mission is to drive positive change through sustainable innovation starting from converting electric vehicles into solar-electric vehicles.

Our Origins
HIIVE was born out of the "No Recharging, No Refueling Electric Vehicle - Second Generation" Research and Development Project at Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. What began as a technical working group has evolved into a passionate team of inventors, engineers, and advocates united by a shared vision for a greener future.

Our Focus
At HIIVE, we are laser-focused on creating green technologies that prioritize environmental preservation and ecosystem protection. The Philippines, our beloved home, is highly susceptible to natural disasters and calamities, which have intensified in recent years due to climate change and the greenhouse effect caused by excessive carbon dioxide emissions.

Our Motivation
Devastating events like Tropical Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City, and Tropical Typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban City, have claimed countless lives and left indelible scars on our communities. These tragedies have reinforced our determination to develop sustainable solutions that can mitigate the impact of environmental degradation.
