It's official. Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) has issued a patent or UM Certificate for the Utility Model "On-Board Charging System for Electric Vehicles (OBoCS4EVs)." The innovation is OBoCS that would be able to charge the main battery of EVs while on-board and while driving it. It means that EVs would no longer rely on stationary charging stations and electric outlets at home for recharging. It means also that it has UNLIMITED RANGE without plug-in recharging. We Filipinos are the only ones who thought of this because nobody objected when IPOPHL published this worldwide.
This PRODUCT PROTOTYPE of OBoCS4EVs is funded by TAPI-DOST under the Industry-Based Invention Development (IBID) Program.
